With a rapidly increasing interest in open-water, the Pool to Pier course, together with developing stamina and technique, is aimed at bringing together like-minded people in a fun, social and safe environment to experience open-water swimming. Whether you are new to open-water sea swimming or looking to fine-tune your technique, Pool to Pier's coaches can help you achieve the personal goals on your sea-swimming adventure. Our courses offer great value for money, and we offer a variety of lesson times through the week.
Due to the programmes continued popularity and success, the programme runs on a termly basis, organised into three terms - each term consists of twelve weeks. Our Autumn and Spring term sessions focusing developing stroke technique and stamina in the pool. After you reach the required standard, in the summer term we then venture into the sea at the earliest opportunity (usually May). In the sea, we then work with you to complete two key swims: 'Around the Pier' and 'Pier to Pier'.
